This scene picks up where we left off in our reading today. I would like you to follow along in your books, and pay close and particular attention to Annie's second flashback. What do you think this says about her past? How do you think her past has influenced her growth into adulthood? Has it helped her? Has it hindered her? Why do you think so?

i really didn't get the clip so i watched it agian and the only part i didn't get was the first part of her flash back what was going on?

Mr C, i know that, this doesn't pertain to ''the miracle worker'' but i was wondering if i could do the book ''Gentle Ben'' for my reading project this summmer, it is a good book, that i found very interesting, when reading the first chapter.

I would not have a problem with "Gentle Ben", however it is listed at a fifth grade reading level. Here's what I suggest you do; read "Gentle Ben" by Walt Morey for your own enjoyment and pick another book that is on an 8th grade reading level or higher for the summer reading project. Let me know what you decide to read.
